Closures & Inclement Weather Policy

At Mission Nutrition DeForest (MND), the safety of our guests and volunteers is paramount. We follow the DeForest Area School District (DASD) inclement weather decisions for our closure policy:

1. If DASD cancels school due to inclement weather, MND will be closed for the day.

2. If DASD has a late start, MND will operate normally for PM pantries but will cancel AM pantries.

3. If DASD closes early due to inclement weather, MND will be closed for PM pantries as well.

4. In the event of Second Harvest Foodbank or CAC closures or delivery cancellations for any reason, MND will also be closed.

5. For inclement weather days outside of regular school hours, our management will make the decision on whether MND will close or remain open.
